Hi,

Earlier this month, we announced that about 36 STEM (science and technology, mostly) eBooks were added to the Gale Virtual Reference Library (GVRL) instance on OSLIS.

Before we had access to these STEM titles, we did not feature GVRL on the elementary Find Information page because nearly all of the eBooks in GVRL were for secondary students. However, now we have a GVRL link, and when you click on it, GVRL only displays the elementary-level eBooks plus some aimed at middle school. 

If you are prompted to log in and there are two textboxes, enter your Gale username and password. If there is only one box, just enter your password.

Notice that for some titles, there are multiple volumes, like Grzimek's Animal Life Encyclopedia. Also notice the Tools option on the right to search within the entire publication (all volumes) or within the selected volume.
