Hi,

I meant to send this earlier, but it slipped past me.

Some of you may be retiring, changing jobs, or moving, and that means someone new will staff your library next year. If this applies to you and you already know who next year’s library staff will be, please send me the new person’s name and email address plus the name of the school. Around the beginning of next school year, I will make sure they are signed up for OSLIST so they are in the loop about OSLIS and its resources, including the statewide databases.

If you don’t know who the new library staffer will be, please still let me know you are leaving, and I will unsubscribe you from OSLIST sometime during the summer. Also, please leave information about OSLIST for the person who will take over. It can be something quick like this example:

Hi. Please contact Jennifer Maurer, the School Library Consultant at the State Library of Oregon, to subscribe to OSLIST. It’s a listserv for Oregon library staff to stay informed about OSLIS and the statewide databases, currently Gale and LearningExpress Library. Jen is the only person who posts to OSLIST, and she sends about 1 to 4 emails per month. You can also subscribe on your own. Not sure what OSLIS is? Jen can fill you in. You’ll want to know. Thanks.
