GVRL is one of the Gale databases available statewide, and 36 eBooks related to STEM topics were added to it. See the email below for details.
Secondary students can access GVRL on the Find Information page of OSLIS.
Elementary students should go to the Find Information page, click on PowerSearch, and then click on GVRL. Now that GVRL has titles with reading levels suitable for elementary students, I will add a direct link to GVRL to the Find Information page soon. [Update on 9/26: A direct link to GVRL has been added, so there is no need to access via PowerSearch.]
If you plan to download MARC records and are asked for your Location ID, it’s the same as the Gale username for your district or private school.

Hi all,
Oregon schools and libraries have 36 new titles in Gale Virtual Reference Library this year! The Statewide Database Licensing Advisory Committee chose the books because of the need for more science, technology, engineering and mathematics resources.
The STEM list is below, and full details are here.
Access them through OSLIS or log in to Gale Admin to get links and set up passwords for your school.
You can add MARC records to your catalog for the new titles. Ask Jen Maurer for the download file.
