Hi Folks,
In an earlier announcement that APA Citation Maker on OSLIS was updated to align with the 7th edition of the APA publication manual, I mentioned that extra examples of completed citations would be added. Well, the last batch was added a couple of weeks ago, and users can access the citation examples three ways:
- Select an option in the green Source Type column, like Video Recording, and click on “See more examples” near the bottom of the template page that opens.
- From any page that opens after you select “See more examples,” click on “complete list of citation examples.” (Example for the Video Recording examples page)
- To directly access the complete list of citation examples, click on “Citation Resources” at the bottom of the green Source Type column. That opens a list of resources, and one of them is the page of all APA citation examples.
Sprinkled throughout are notes to explain trickier concepts, exceptions to rules, and more. (Example for Video Recording / Video Podcast & Webinar)
Many thanks again to Marlene Lee, OSLIS Chair. We worked together on the examples and notes, and she put in a ton of additional volunteer hours.
Please help spread the word. Questions? Please ask.
Thanks,
Jen
