Hi,
Amber Winters, a Gale trainer, will present two upcoming webinars specifically for Oregon school library staff. Please let teachers know about the National Geographic Kids webinar. Both sessions will be recorded.
- Building Elementary Lessons with National Geographic Kids => Wednesday, April 20 from 3:30 – 4:15 pm Pacific
Register for this: “National Geographic Kids provides librarians, teachers, and students with full text magazines, books, images, and videos to support elementary-levelled learning in social studies, science, technology, and world cultures. Search and browse workflows allow students to explore in their own ways to build research skills. In this session we will explore how teachers and librarians can gather information to create and supplement their lessons.” Consider inviting elementary teachers to this session.
- 15 Minutes to Mastery: Discover Gale Support Product Pages => Thursday, May 5 from 3:30 – 3:45 pm Pacific
Register for this: “Gale’s support site (support.gale.com) provides up-to-date informational, training, and marketing materials to ensure you are getting the most out of your Gale resources. In this session we will explore the curated product pages that gather all materials for your resources including product descriptions, icons, direct URLs, training webinars, flyers, social media posts and more.” Product pages are an excellent resource!
Thanks,
Jen
