Hi,
I’d like to highlight two professional development opportunities developed specifically for Oregon school library staff.
- Tuesday, March 29, 3:30 to 4:30 pm Pacific: OSLIS 101: Explore the Learn to Research Section
School library staff and classroom teachers who are new to OSLIS, let's explore the Learn to Research section together. What is the OSLIS research model? How do I access ebooks, video tutorials, and worksheets about the research process? What's the difference between the Elementary and Secondary sections? What's the difference between the Student and Educator pages? Get answers to these questions and more. [This webinar was originally scheduled for 2/22/22 but was postponed.] (Jen Maurer, School Library Consultant, State Library of Oregon)
- Tuesday, April 5, 3:30 to 3:45 pm Pacific: 15 Minutes to Mastery with Gale: What to Use When
Join this 15-minute session to explore use cases for your Gale databases, to get a better understanding of how different databases support different topics, researchers, students, and projects. Please bring your questions and ideas to add to our discussion! (Amber Winters, Gale Trainer)
Have a great week.
Thanks,
Jen
